It is one of the most elegant hats I have found recently and among the first in my ranking.

A very beautiful Stra Barbisio with a splendid color and pleated ribbon. This green is a light one StefanStra Barbisio Extra Lusso in Quercia (oak). Yes, I know it's green, but like so often: if you see gills this close you're already lost.
Size 56 with the raw edge brim at 6cm and the crown at 10cm. Weighs 115 grams. Love the shape of this one (the flange especially) and the felt is fabulous; thin and tight with a nice soft hand.
Another beauty. I like so much the combo of felt color and ribbon. Gran lobbia!Barbisio Rat Gondin (nutria). Size 61 with the brim at 7cm and the crown at 12cm at the center dent. I can't tell you the colour because the stitches of the sweatband are fragile and the band itself feels quite stiff even if it looks in perfect shape.
At one point in its life the hat was hit by a small ember (I think) because a tiny hole can be seen on the top of the crown in the third pick. Must have burned right through the felt, because it even left a small mark on the liner. You'd have to know it was there though; it's hardly noticeable handling the hat.
Not a common hat in this size and type of felt. Weighs 148 grams.

Whatever it is, it's a stellar looking hat. Colour me jealous!This Barbisio in velour/velvet arrived this week. It could pass as a black one, but next to a true black, has a rather very dark brown/purplish hue.
