Great to see all the different bashes. My brain is wired for symmetry but I have learned to appreciate the individual bashes people give their hats. I lean toward a center dent but have been opening up to teardrops, c-creases and diamonds lately.

Excellent... the thing that impresses me about those period hats is just how soft, malleable and unevenly bashed they all were...
And the one of Wm Powell is my all time long time reference for everything diamond...

I am especially interested in the 1918 picture. Those center creases were all the rage! I don't notice any hats with the clips we have seen on the Lounge. Were they earlier than WWI?
