What finish does Bob call this? I have one from Leon Drexler and he calls it his Angora finish, not exactly a long hair but a definite nap to it. Great hat BTW.

He has 3 finish options for long naps with Velveteen being shortest, Sateen the middle and Long Hair (such as the one above) being the longest.

Thanks, Steve. This was a 1960s felt from a one off hat shop in the mid west. No idea who made it for them. Quality felt but poorly constructed with glue used for the liner and sweatband. A true rescue refurb in this case by BSHW.
