Brimaco jacket, 1970s?

Was wondering about the date of this Brimaco cafe racer I picked up recently (sadly too small for me). Does it look like a 1970s jacket? All zippers are lightning brand.

I've owned a myriad Of Brimaco/British Cycle Leathers jackets and I believe the Lightning zips were used up until the late 70's early 80's when the went with Acme and YKK zips. Nice jacket BTW...love the classic 742...one of the best looking CR's ever!

I think I've found a 'sleeper' Brimaco Blue, the label has been cut out but the design and age are exactly right...

It's too big for me and I'll get the Bobbit treatment if I bought another unnecessary jacket so thought I'd share.

That's awesome. I had that bright blue guy myself. Friggn' wife got in my head about it and I sold it. That, imho, is THE Brimaco to have. Very nice man.

I really need a blue jacket, to go with the red one. This one's too big though. It's definitely a Brimaco, though.

I think we would have had a bidding war on that one monitor...very cool but just too big sadly.
