I have a WW2 US Army officer's "frame cap" (visor cap) retailed by The May Company, Denver.
The detachable top is sadly rather moth-eaten. This is a shame because the rest of the cap is near mint.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a replacement top ?
The size is 7 3/8 and an OD or khaki top would do. Just so long as it has the officer's type mohair band.
The only ones that seem to turn up on eBay are USMC cap covers.
