I have a cedar closet in my basement that I use for my hats and off season clothing. Since it's below ground and away from the finished portion of my basement I need to keep a dehumidifier running in it for the summer months. I normally just run it at a median setting.
My question:
Does any one use a hygrometer in theirs and what is the ideal humidity for leathers (this is assuming that the wool, silk, cotton, and felt are less temperamental regarding moisture)?
