At the time of this photoshoot, Andrew didn’t even have a drivers license. When they previously shot a music video of him cruising around California (in a Pontiac GTO previously used in I Dream of Genie), they had to have it towed with Andy pretend driving.

It looks like hes got a crewneck sweatshirt, a zip up hoodie, and most likely a tshirt stuffed under that leather jacket. If hes uncomfortable its probably because he cant move. I understand some people love layering under their jackets, i personally cant stand it, imo it eliminates the functionality of a motorcycle jacket. It has to be snug on a bike so any armor stays where its supposed to. D30 armor as an elbow pad doesnt do your elbow any good when it gets twisted around to your tricep.

Ah, Yes - Patricia Morrison. I remember a friend had a poster of her on his wall in the SoM days. Friend of mine knows her well; I met her briefly a couple of times through that connection when Patricia was married to Dave Vanian. She seemed pretty cool.

Presumably a civilian version. Sensible mod, I think... I had an anorak back in the middle eighties that was, I realise in retrospect, very much influenced by the M65 design. As memory serves, inherited it from a cousin who's outgrown it. Very much like an M65, though I don't recall it having a waist cord. Not sure if there are any photos. I'm pretty sure it can't have been the real thing (despite them being widely available in surplus stores for twenty quid, mint condition in those days, same s real USAF MA1s... if only we'd known!) as memory insists the lining was a little padded, and permanently installed...). I d remember it had the zip-concealed hood. Never quite figured what it was for - certainly didn't do anything in the way of keeping rain off, and I stopped even trying to use it fairly quickly. Seems a logical thing to dispense with for a civilian variant - or, of course, it could also be surplus from elsewhere. Can't recall exactly now, but I'm pretty sure I've seen a few variants of this style crop up as surplus from various places across the globe. Interesting alternative to a chore jacket, though, and probably ideal for the Californian "Winter".
