Crush my crusher

I have a number of combination (visor) caps that I want to break in like my 50 mission crushers. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do this more quickly than wearing headphones over them for months at a time? I need a 'quick crush' solution. Any ideas?

Crush

1 buy a cheap styrofoam head [your size]
2 wet the crusher with chilled distilled water [soaked]
3 place crusher on head
4 use old headphones, place ontop of crusher
5 let dry completely [3 days]
that's all....
