Thanks! But nah, it's really safe. Single gear, but have you ever been to the North of Germany? It's as flat as they imagined earth to be in the Middle Ages.

And nah again, it has a back pedal break. Plus, I now live in the country. There is no traffic but the deer passing by.

Germany flat!? I though Germany's only hills and mountains, what with the Alps going thru and all... Never imagined it would be flat anywhere at all. Cool! Don't mind me, I just don't like single gear bicycles. I consider myself somewhat of a... bicyclist, done roughly the same mileage on a bicycle that I have on a bike. Maybe more. Anyway, it wasn't long ago that retro-ish single gear bicycles became somewhat of a fad here which by itself wouldn't be a problem if people riding those had any clue on how to ride a bicycle. So I've had people running into me and generally being a nuisance just because they don't have a first clue on how to ride a fixie. Or a bicycle in general.

Worst bit is that there are now even more urban fixed gear bicyclists, riding those horrendous brake-less deathtraps. Same kind of people you see taping the headlights on their motorcycles.

Most of the north is incredibly flat. And I dig it. It's great for bicycles. It's funny, when I lived in Berlin I rode 150 km every week just to work and friends and around. Never as a sport though. I just hated to ride the underground.
More gears were more expensive and just another factor that can break. There were no pros for me in there.
The village where we moved is pretty uncommon for a village in Germany. Lots of artists, open and crazy people( in a positive way) here.

Black jacket, black sheep. Sorry, couldn't resist. But you can see some of the grain of the jacket.
Actually, the grain on the sleeves and some other areas is popping out right now. And the brown is coming through more and more.
I must say I really like how the jacket is developing.
Will send some more detailed pics some time soon.

@BobJ Yeah, it has been rained on a few times already. However, only very little. Nothing happened. The water was simply repelled by the leather. No soaking wet showers until now.
I've been wearing the jacket every day since I got it. Will keep doing it until it gets too warm for this jacket.
