This Indian is a fabulous ride. So nice to be able to hit neutral the 1st time. My Harley Davidsons : low rider, fat boy, road king, 883 iron, dyna convertible, rocker, heritage softail classic, all struggled. The Harley 250 Sprint from Aermacci in Italy 1965 did not have shifting trouble. However you have to remember to shift with the right boot and brake with the left.

I have a Z900rs, by far the nicest bike I've owned to date. Previously rode on sub-2000 dollar sport bikes for the past decade or so and was finally able to go out and get exactly what I wanted. I love it very much, my only gripe being I wish there was just a smidge of wind protection up front. I've been looking into an aftermarket cowl but not sure if I want to put one on yet.

A little off-topic, but does anyone have recommendations for riding gloves, preferably leather? I'm looking to replace my stinky *** worn out ones soon.

I prefer a short cuff, elastic clasp and knuckle / finger protection beyond the leather glove itself. Many mfg's make inexpensive versions that have carbon fiber knuckle and finger covers. The trick is to not skimp too much on gloves. If you come off the bike your hands fly out in front reflexively and they touch down first. Hands are pretty delicate and you don't want to be without 'em.

Yeah, looking for a short cuff with secure clasp and preferably some sort of knuckle armor. I always go back and forth on reinforced palms - I'm sure I'd hate them until my hands hit the pavement.

Held goatskin for me.
Unlined in Australia.
I'll check them out, thanks.
