Am I confused or is there more than one springer amongst your riding buddies? I see those rarely in the states.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I prefer a short cuff, elastic clasp and knuckle / finger protection beyond the leather glove itself. Many mfg's make inexpensive versions that have carbon fiber knuckle and finger covers. The trick is to not skimp too much on gloves. If you come off the bike your hands fly out in front reflexively and they touch down first. Hands are pretty delicate and you don't want to be without 'em.A little off-topic, but does anyone have recommendations for riding gloves, preferably leather? I'm looking to replace my stinky *** worn out ones soon.
Yeah, looking for a short cuff with secure clasp and preferably some sort of knuckle armor. I always go back and forth on reinforced palms - I'm sure I'd hate them until my hands hit the pavement.I prefer a short cuff, elastic clasp and knuckle / finger protection beyond the leather glove itself.
