Fibber McGee and Molly "14th and Oak" Nearly every business they visited was located there and whenever Fibber met someone downtown that was always the location.

Michigan Ave (430 N) at Lower Wacker Drive (beneath the Tribune Tower and the Wrigley Bldg). If you don't recognize the location of this Chicago landmark, you're definitely not a Cubs fan!

This is the original 1934 home of the Billy Goat Tavern; home of the 'Curse of Billy Goat'. It's a dive - plain and simple. It's dark on lower Wacker, but I've always felt safe over indulging at 0200. This is Mike Ryoko's watering hole... probably haunted by Slats Grobnik and maybe, Hiz Honor.

'Standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona'! It's such a fine sight to see!

Hey, I've been there! That would have been some time in 2004 or 2005 while visiting a good friend who was, shall we say, a guest of the state of Arizona for 2 to 2.5 years. I remember the intersection and the truck, but don't recall seeing a statue. But then, we were running late because the GPS in the rental car wanted us to drive through someone's house that was supposed to be on a shortcut, and at that point the only way to get where we wanted to go was to backtrack an hour to where we exited the nearest highway.

But I digress. If anyone is curious about the Standin' on the Corner website, they've changed the web address. It's now https://standinonthecorner.org/ .
