Bit worried about that length. 27" feels like a lot. My current jackets are ~25.5. Do you have fit pics?

I did enquire ELMC in the past about J100 sizing for tag sizes 40 and 42 and this was their reply (NOTE: these are the measurements of the regular version not the tall version).

ARM LENGTH FROM THE SHOULDER TO THE END OF THE CUFF = 25IN / 64CM

I think I would need 42 in this one even though I am wearing a 40 in the ELMC Roadstar. The J100 fits slimmer.

This is a 62cm back. I don't think I can another 5cm (2 inches) on top of that?

In the end the issue of the length of the jacket is something very personal, for my taste it is too long in my case, but there will be people who will like it that way, I think this jacket with a longer torso and more height would be ideal!

I think that's pretty perfect. At least for my taste. Personally, I wouldn't go any longer than this 62, maximum 63 cm. But that's a matter of taste.

I’ve also had a Vanson Comet and Schott 641, though neither is “high end” they’re both great cafe racer styles. Perhaps the new 641 style that Schott made in Shinki hide would fit the bill, if it becomes available in your size.

Well to be fair, two are made for actual m/c use and the other is made for what your doing with it now.

CR is a style I haven’t really pursued seriously for a decade now but my favorite of the type is the Canadian Brimaco. Far from high end but also very cool with about the best cut outside of Brooks you can get.

Bates also makes a proper CR

For me personally, when it comes to m/c styles I like the ones that were actually designed to do the job. Something is lost on me with the repros. I tried a few Aero, Sb, etc. the vintage ones were always just better for me. It’s not a style that requires a large investment IMO.

Anyone have pics of the six panel cal being worn? Feel like I’ve seen a lot of pics of it hanging or flat but not on the body.

There is that of course. I have a very standard build and fit well in all size 40 off the rack jackets. The only slight problem is that my arms are a little bit longer than standard but it's not a big problem.
