A very beautiful, interesting jacket. I don't know the maker. The triple marked Talon zipper is typically from 1938. It is goatskin.

I was hoping you'd chime in. Thanks for doing that. The epaulettes, cross-zip, and CR-style pockets make it very interesting indeed.

The mark-up on those jackets is totally nuts. Why would anyone order from here instead of going direct? Even with the reduction they’re steep.

I don't find them that steep. For example a rockafella in badalassi directly from aero would be 1125 pounds outside the UK. For my country (NL) you should add 21% vat and 4% duty thus 1406 pounds or 1632e. Add the dhl fee of 18e and a total of 1650e.
On the wardrobe19 website I see it sells for 1784e without the sale, 1249e with the sale.
For the full price I would go with Aero as I can customize. If however the off the rack from w19 fits then it is a deal.

I suppose that’s a fair point. I was thinking more about how they compare to the stock jacket prices, though I appreciate that waiting for those requires a bit of patience/luck.
