FS 1926 Illinois "MARQUIS-AUTOCRAT" pocket watch

This is a 17 Jewel, 12 Size, open face, pocket watch. The movement is signed
"THE MARQUIS-AUTOCRAT", 17 jewels motor barrell, adjusted 3 positions, Illinois Watch Co. , Springfield Ser# 4827297, and has gold screwdown jewel settings. The case is a 14KT white gold filled and is in very good condition. It has a new crystal and a perfect (most likely refinshed) dial. It is a nice small, thin watch that is a good size to carry and seems to be in good working order. I took this in on a trade and would like to get $85.00 out of it.

It is a very nice watch. As I said I took it as partial trade from a local antique dealer on an old van that I had. I didn't really need it but it was too nice to let it get away. I prefer the 18 and 16S pocket watches over the smaller ones or I would probably keep it.

Wow, that dial is amazing.

I just had my Elgin 16S watch serviced, otherwise I might have seriously considered this watch.
