Black bowler with traditional dimensions: 4 3/4 crown, 2 inch dimensional D'Orsay curled brim and 1 inch ribbon. This bowler has a rear frayed edge on the bow. It also has a butted and taped (not stitched) sweatband.
This unlined bowler has no identifying information (maker or store name), only a liner tip and size tag. The crown is very smooth and in great condition. A big plus is that this is a very thin, lightweight hat. I often call this one my "summer bowler".
