Hey all,

Just got this from Jejupe and I really like it but the sleeves seem a little too long for me. I’ve already sent Dena an email asking about an alteration but it also doesn’t have side pockets which for me I’d rather have. (I know, not usually standard for this type of jacket). Want to consider moving this on and buying one directly.

It’s really nice and new, not broken in at all and I’ve worn it around the house and in one drive to work to see if I could make it work. No damage or signs of wear.

With shipping and conversion rate with tax it cost me just under $600 USD so I’ll say $590 pp/ff shipped in CONUS.

Here’s a few dot pics for reference and see original post for more.

Thanks!

I don't think it looks bad on you. I'd keep it and wear it. Sleeves are perhaps a tad on the long side, but you can see how they lie once you've completed breaking in the leather.

From what I've heard Aero does not do handwarmer pockets on their Type III, because they have a rule about doing anything out of the period later than 1960. It's unfortunate because Aero's Type III is really a fantastic execution of the original pattern.

Get the sleeves wet and hang the jacket out in the hot sun to dry. They'll come up a half inch or so. Plus just wearing the jacket over time, with the creases and all that, you'll pick up another little bit.

Think I’ll hold off any work to shorten the sleeves or any more wear as I’ve decided to sell this and want it still in new condition for someone else. If no one is interested then I might try that.

So if anyone wants to make an offer I’m open to reasonable offers. Thanks!
