Gents,

I have had this hat for a few years and it's time to let it go. A beautiful original Knox Tom N' Jerry in a deep brown/burgundy, tagged 7 1/2 and fits a 7 1/2 perfectly. It's an incredibly soft felt with a velour kind of nap, center crease tall 6" crown, and a turned down and sewn 4" brim. A few moth nibbles above the 18 ligne matching ribbon, but because of the deep color they are not noticeable when worn (photos of nibbles included, they are less noticeable in person).

I know this will go to a good home and be worn with pride. Price: $175 plus actual shipping, first "I'll take it" has it.

Photos below, tough to get the actual color with a cell phone camera:

You may wish to edit your original post. No way that's a 4-inch brim. And a "turned down and sewn" brim is typically referred to around these parts as an underwelt. At least I'm fairly confident that's what you're meaning to convey.

Nice hat, by the way. And good of you to make explicit the ways in which it's less than perfect.

Tony,

Thank you for the suggestions, and for the compliment. Honesty upfront is better than disappointment down the road.

I can no longer edit the original post, so I'll say it here:

CORRECTION: it is a 2 3/4" underwelt brim.

I'll take it if it's still around. Please could you PM me the total cost to have it shipped to the UK via Fedex (this one's too nice to use regular international postage)?
