Dated 30's to 40's immaculate Stetson Standard Quality in dove grey. Exceptionally rare large size 7 5/8's. Light beige bound 2 1/4 brim, 5 1/2 tall crown with original black ribbon. Unlined with all factory labels intact and originally purchased at Crown Hat Shop, Terre Haut, Indiana. Sweat band is light brown and baby soft. There are no stains, moth bites or major imperfections - but it was worn, at least a bit. The felt is malleable and in fine condition. The brim snaps at will. It really is a lovely hat.

Asking $300, shipped. Will consider a partial trade for Dobbs Gay Prince in similar large size.

I have a Resistol 7 5/8 LO in the Gay Prince style that I'm considering sending in for a professional cleaning. The fit is so perfect for me, I'm hesitant to let it go - but you never know. Feel free to pm me if you want to talk about it.

Have you posted photos of this hat in the pre-1940s Stetson Dress Hats thread? If not, it would be great to have it archived there... especially sharp photos of the detailing and sweatband markings, manufacturing tags and unusual black size tag. Thanks in advance!
