This homburg is in very nice condition. The felt is heavy but very pliable. Leather sweat is in excellent shape. I'm no expert on these things, but based on information I've gleaned from other threads on this site, I believe this hat was made for the German market, probably in the '50s or '60s. Really nice lid. I won't be too sad if nobody buys it, but I just don't see myself getting much use out of a black homburg. It wants to be worn with a classy suit and, well, I'm not much of a classy suit guy. I am, however, a big Godfather fan, which is why I nabbed this thing in the first place. Time to up your Michael Corleone game! I think $175 + shipping is a fair asking price.
