There was nothing to know about Garfield any more than there is to know about Ginger Megs. What lasagna has to do with anything about the ad I still do not know. Your Garfield phone was the epitome of an absurd ad .

I've learned long ago that despite the widespread ubiquitousness of American pop culture throughout the world that surprisingly there are still many aspects of it that's unfamiliar to people in other countries. I remember chatting with someone in the UK in a chatroom when somebody else mentioned pumpkin pie I was very surprised that the person I was chatting with had never heard of it.

@A.C - I don't remember seeing that ad, it mustn't have been a very long campaign.
@jamespowers - pumpkin soup is lovely. I prefer pumpkin cooked as a savoury veg rather than turned into sweet pies and the like.

What I didn't understand is why Garfield had a liking for lasagna..... of all things..... why not pizza or.... spaghetti bolognese .... why lasagna? ( I still don't lol)
