I'm really not certain where I should post this question but... here goes:
I have a nice collection of vintage women's fur coats, including my great-grandmother's valuable seal coat. I've recently located to Colorado, but I left my furs back at my parents' home in Nebraska.
How can I safely move my furs to Colorado? I live in Estes Park and the humidity level is extremely low. In fact, I've already lost a djemba drum head; it completely split after a rainstorm came and went. I don't want to damage my furs by moving them to such a dry climate, but I hate that they are so far away.
Any ideas or advice? Or should I just sell them and switch to wool coats?
