Forums are great. eBay can be but often people run into issues there. Just take time and be patient.

There are bargains out there - here's a beauty on ebay right now (not my auction): judging by the pencil pocket, it looks like an early 55j14 by L.W. Foster. With a re-lining and some conditioner...

I bought a U.S. Authentic for myself in black goatskin with a black mouton collar. I agree that it is a well made jacket for the price. The fit is similar to the 1972 Star Sportswear I own.

Unknown (no label), but suspect it's early' late 40s-50s. Even if it's a repro, it's a very, very good one.

Still waiting for it to arrive but got it for a good price.
