Hückel (Weilheim) Chevreau

Hückel (Weilheim) Chevreau, size 58cm, green. It's mid 1950s and with little to no wear and has the original paper sales tag. The felt color and finish (Antilope like) are fantastic. Also great overall construction and detail work .

Dermotta Wien Homburg

Dermotta Wien Homburg, size 58cm, gray. I believe I have seen hats from this company before but I will have to do some research. The seller and original owner are the same as the Hückel (Weilheim) Chevreau with a date stamp of 12/55. This is a high quality hat with a very nice felt (other colors mixed with the gray) and finish. Also in excellent condition.

My Hückel Trachten are stamped under the sweat band with Chevreau.

The Velour is thick & plush with a wide over welt. There is no paper label or company marks but possible this one is from around WWI.

Manfred, Thank you taking a look at the coat of arms. Interesting regarding possibility of it being Silesian. I found a person on the Web that collects WWI era millitary medals and it he thought the eagle looked Prussian but not the crown so that might point to Silesia.

I replied on the Borsalino thread.

Nice find with the Homburg! Was that a flea market find?
