From Wikipedia:
"The graham cracker was developed in nineteenth century America by Presbyterian minister Rev. Sylvester Graham."

"His original "Graham bread" was the centerpiece of the diet he created to suppress what he considered unhealthy carnal urges, the source of many maladies according to Graham. He also warned that ketchup and mustard induced insanity."

So how many eat Graham Crackers, Ketchup/Catsup & Mustard ???

Well, Can I use the Ketchup excuse at work ? Sorry Boss, just had a bit of Ketchup with my French Fries and now I am Insane !!!

Another dandy example of the ability of human beings to believe any crackpot idea that someone can dream up!

But I'm grateful to the old nutball for his crackers - two of them with fudge icing in between makes the best cookie ever.

There is a similar story with Kellogg's Corn Flakes, actually!

Inspired by Kellogg’s ideas, the doctors maintained that “self-abuse may result in exhaustion, paralysis and heart diseases. Because of self-abuse some people will end up losing their minds, others will commit suicide.”

John Harvey Kellogg even wrote a book called "Treatment for Self-Abuse and its Effects; Plain Fact for Old and Young" in 1888. lol

The Kellogg brothers ran a sanitarium at one time.
