hair and hat size

i didn't have particularly long hair, but it was bushy I guess. I just got a crewcut and my hats are sliding down my face! the difference between some hair and no hair is large. If your hats are too tight, dont stretch em, just shave your head....

My hair lays down pretty flat so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference for me but I could see it making a difference if I let my hair grow out. I like it short on the sides anyway.

There's a product called "Cap Ban Nu" from Village Hat Shop (and elsewhere) -- it's an adhesive band for hats that is just wonderful for altering size, even temporarily. You can either affix it to the sweat band, or affix it to the back of the sweat band, or tuck it inside the sweat band without affixing it. I have to use them on practically every one on of my hats because my head is such a long oval (when viewed from above, I look like the Hindenburg), but lately also because I've lost a great deal of weight, and some of it went from my head.
