  1. I grilled a couple of breakfast steaks over charcoal with grilled onions for steak sandwiches on Texas toast. A perfect prequel to some Lag 16 & SNF. With my 1930's Stetson No.1Q Nevadan.

  4. Thanks Eric, but it was last nights dinner & drink during Sunday Night Football. I used to get some breakfast steaks cut from cushion meat at the locker. They grill up & make great steak sandwiches on a roll or Texas toast. Didn't mean to imply I was drinking Scotch for breakfast!

No judgement if you were. We've probably all been there at some point.

  6. LOL...just yesterday afternoon I was listening to Whiskey Bent & Hell Bound by both Hank Jr, & Cody Jinks.

My error Jack. Never any judgements here.

I shuttered the business for 4 weeks this weekend. This morning I looking ahead to the with Zoom workouts for athletes later this evening. I am enjoying a morning off by fixing some rolled oat oatmeal w/fruit and a grilled venison sausage that is paired with a Founders Porter.

Interesting color combo you've got there. Very nice. Do you happen to know the color name of the ribbon and binding?

Where in Ohio are you from? I'm in the Columbus area. There's a few others here scattered across the Buckeye state.

Thanks - it's burgundy - white balance is a tad off and saturation up in the photo. I live in Medina (about 1/2 hour South of Cleveland). Here's what the hat band looks like with correct white balance:

Yes, Mike from Northwest Hats does some great work - with quite a few different bow designs

  16. Killin' off an Old Scout! Not bad at 117 proof but not as smooth as Knob Creek 120 for high octane. Great color though!

Zoom meetings completed for today. My dog and I completed a walkabout through the neighborhoods to wind down. Home finally and am working my way down to the lakeside sipping an All Day IPA.

Happy Thanksgiving to all US Fedora Lounge folks!

I give thanks to all of you, all Lounge members everywhere, for your conversations and shares this past year.

  18. Nice thoughts Eric!

I'm starting the holiday celebration tonight with a First Editions bottling of Longmorn 18 yr old. Longmorn is a favorite Speyside & usually only available thru independent bottlers. Shown with a Stetson 3X OR, my hat choice for the afternoon.

It's been one long short week so I got into the turkey early. Drinking to a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all who observe it and an equally fine Thursday to the rest of the world. Like Eric, @Short Balding Guy , I am truly thankful for the conversations and the knowledge swapped here. You guys are fine company.

All the best to you and yours, Cuz. Many a night WT 101 laid my head to the side. Great pic and the Formica top table is top notch, along with the tubular frame chairs in the background. Recently had to put a neglected one to the curb.
