Hello, long time lurker here, first post time!
I found this hat in a local charity shop a while ago, and would like to know more about it. I have done some very quick research on it, and have narrowed it down to within 1934-1970, from the United Hatters, Cap, and Millinery Workers International Union crest on the reverse of the size label, and the fact it was made by the John B Stetson company. Interestingly, it seems to be labeled a UK 7 1/4, not a US 7 1/4 (which has an about 1 cm circumference difference)
What I'd like to know is if it is possible to narrow the date down, and, frankly (as it is too large for me) it's worth, on ebay, or elsewhere(apologies if that is not normally dicussed).
Yours,
Mike
