Help finding a dark brown straw cowboy hat

Just thinking about the places I'm going this summer and one thing I've always wanted was a dark brown or chocolate large brimmed straw western hat.

Nothing fancy, something like the Stetson Rancher but the same color (preferably darker) as the chocolate open road. The closest I've seen is some super cheap palm.

And yes yes, I know it'll probably be warmer but I'm from the gulf coast, I don't even switch from felt til the high 80's

Am I looking for something no one makes? Maybe custom is an option? Thanks.

Take a look at the Stetson Hemp hats.. OR and Stratoliner... way sturdier than straw . Lots of color options too

I actually have the Open Road in felt and straw and the felt Stratoliner. I love them but I really want that larger brim. Looks good though.

gotcha... the Hemp Open Road is a 3" brim so its NOT a big boy.... good hunting

I suppose one could get a western straw they like and color it with Krylon and then topcoat with matte, satin, or semi gloss clear... if you dont go overboard, it should still breathe to some degree
