Help me, please, with size of Schott 689HH

Hi guys, I want to buy a 689HH and I have doubts with size, I have a sz 40" on 141(perfect fit) but I don't know if on 689H have the same measurements.

Hello Tito;

The 689HH is basically a 141 with a collar on it. Slim, cafe racer overall fit.
Schott recommends one size up from suit size. My 689HH is a 46 and I take a 44 suit jacket.

If that is your 141, it looks great!

Agree with 1087 about going a size up..

I've owned a 689HH and still own a 141.. they were both the same size but the 689HH was a much tighter fit than the 141... part of it had to do with the fact that the 689 has a sewn in quilted liner that is quite thick....

Yeah, good point Chi-Town and 1087........I forgot about the non removeable quilted liner in the 689.

Tito,you seem in profoundly good shape. If it's not too personal, may I ask how old you are and what you do to stay in such good condition? You make that leather jacket look great. It has made me revisit the Schott website in order to review the 141 and 689.

Thanks my friend, it's easy, I run 8 or 10 km 5 days per week and very important, do not eat any saturated fat.

FYI... I found my 689 fit true to size. I typically wear a 42 and the Schott fit likewise. Having read the maker's sizing recomendations I ordered both a 42 and 44. 44 was too roomy.

Keep in mind it's a tapered slim fit so you might not have to size up if you're average height like me and not too heavy.
