Hat

That is very much like a Stetson Open Road, or a competitor look alike. Almost everyone copied that hat, Dobbs called theirs The Westward, Resistol made a San Antonio, Borsalino made a Alessandria, Knox made one in those same proportions as did Stevens and a host of other company's. That is in the vintage years. Now I can not tell you who are the modern day companies that make that style but their are people on this site that tell about all the modern day makers.

More Strat than OR

With that fedora-style shaping, it is less Open
Road and more Stratoliner (like the Borsalino Alessandria, etc).
The OR usually has a cowboy hat-like shape in the crown
(and at least originally a brim snapped up, though I don't
wear them like that).

I like the third picture.
It looks like Chow Yun Fat is concerned about the way
Depp is mishandling his hat. Tell him he'll ruin the crown
that way, like he has done on his other hats, CYF!

Welcome to the Lounge 'Fan! Glad to have ya!
As to the hat, I am almost 100% sure it is not a Stratoliner, the brim is way to wide.
More than likely it is a Borsalino.
A modern Akubra Campdraft would have about the same look as this hat.

I've been looking around for a while now. Do you guys know of any web sites that I can find a hat like this that is reasonably priced. I want the brim to be straight like that and as wide too. Thanks

I agree it looks like a modern Borsalino Alessandria

All of the hats that I mentioned in my previous post came in a variety of brim width and crease options. I own Open Roads with brims from 2 15/16 down to 2 5/8. Open Roads were also sold with three options on the crown crease. The alpine or cattlemans, the pinch front and an open crown(No crease at all).
I own four Borsalino Alessandrias, three of approximitely the same age. Again they range in brim withs from 2 15/16 to 2 5/8. The one with the smallest brim was imported by Nathan's Men's Wear , Ponca City Okla and has a cattlemans crease. I do not know if Borsalino blocked it in Italy or shipped it open crowned to the states. I do believe it is the only crease this hat ever had.
The Dobbs Westwards the same story. My older Westward has much wider brim than my newer Westward. According to Jack Kellogg,AKA Hatman Jack, owner of Wichita Hat Works the Dobbs Westward has not been made since 1969.
I guess what I'm try to say is in old vintage production hats there was choices. Again I am not well versed on the modern production hats so I do not know if they offer options on the same model.
