Gotta say, I honestly like it more than that Vanson. Maybe it's just the leather or something, not sure what but it just looks better.

Vanson leather always looks like plastic/vinyl when new, and within a few yeras of hard wear looks amazing. While this Herc PJ27 looks amazing right off the bat, I think the Vanson will in time catch up if not exceed.

the leather creases very nicely, for the leather I think this more relaxed fit looks better

Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Jacket looks phenomenal for what you pay. Have seen much more expensive jackets look and fit much worse. Leather in particular looks sweet (even though it is very unmanly ultra thin leather at only 2.5 oz, ofcourse). Imo, it fits great in the body and the only negative things I can find are the ones you already pointed out. Stronger elastics on bi swing and more taper in the sleeves from elbow downwards towards wrist.

Will absolutely get one of these as soon as Tony has everything set up.

Nice looking/fitting jacket. I like the label! I've owned these two in the same style. A Buco and a Ralph Edwards. Both were very comfortable wearing jackets. This style has a lot of pieces to put together.
