How many hats do you have...?

It varies, but I generally work with a formula (∏*X) where X is no greater than the number of days in a month... that seems to be my outer limit.

I have about 35 right now and I try not to let the number creep up (although there is a tendency for that to happen).

I have 2 for sale at the moment and another soon to join them plus 3 on order (a Black Sheep, an Adventurebilt and a Deckard). Unless I see something on eBay that I love at a great price, I'm not planning to buy many hats this year.

Over here, it's...uhm...1, 2, 3,... some hats. Let's see.
Vintage 1930s-50s: 13 Fedoras with 5.5" x 2 3/8" or 2 1/2" dimensions, 6 wide-brimmed Fedoras, 4 Homburgs, 1 Derby, 3 Montecristi, 3 Boaters, 1 Milan, and a couple of beaten Fedoras for gardening etc.
Custom: 14 VS felts, 3 VS Montis, 1 Optimo felt.
That adds up to 51 and includes what's still in the hatter's queue or in transit. I'll keep it in that general range.

As I say never enough. I get at least 6 new ones a year. But I do think and plan them out. Three types of hat Felts, Straw, and Newsboys. I am working on getting higher end Straw this year and a few more great newsboy's. I have such a great selection of Felts it is not a pressing need. Total 60.
