So I was making my way through the dregs of my delivery, when shoved between two corduroy C&A trilbies was this,
quite out of shape and bent, but never the less a very pretty colour and the inside looked in good condition.
I pulled back the sweatband to see a stitched liner (this hat looks fairly modern but I've been told that liners are normally glued after the 60's) I understand Panizza to be Italian ? This was sold in Germany though by W . Langner of Neuwied, I've read Panizza are no longer trading, so is this a re-make or has it just not been used much?

It's definitely original (from the old factory). I would say 1970s. Panizza was popular in Germany. The brand name is still out there but the original factory closed in the late 70s. They made really nice felt up to the end.
