Pi is 3.14159 the diameter is 20cm so the radius is 10 cm so the circumfrence should be 31.4159 cm?..... Well that would be huge!

What school did you go to?
First of all circumfrence is 2*pi*r or pi*d that means that in this case c=62.83 cm.
Second 31.4156 is only about 12 inches.

If c=62.83 that is I think eather 7 3/4 or 7 7/8.

I should be able to stuff enough $5s in the sweatband for cross country bus fare before it fits my head. Hopefully it will fit somewhere between 7 1/8 to 7 3/8.
