hello next friday I'm 38. a bit of a Schott collectionist I have a A-2 (ok it's not the proper one but it's an extremely versatile one) B-3 (same thing) Leather Peacoat, Perfecto, 641 Steerhide, one sheepskin Rancher and one B-6.
Now I found a 689HH which I think it's the ultimate for me, I still need to make sure it's the newer one which I hear has the thick layer removed..
now the question about the sizing. the 641 which is the closest in fit is a 40 and it's tight, especially with the lining waistcoat, basically I just wear it in spring or autumn without the fur and with a hoodie is ok. So I thought size 42 should be,
Apart from this, obviously it's not the cheapest jacket out there, and it's probably not the best either, but I really like it.
now please do you think I should look somewhere else with this sort of money involved? why?
