Found this really interesting hat for sale, but the price just wasn't realistic. So this one is not mine, but for posterity.

Welter Superlux by Cervo. Looks to be a very early one.

Saw that one, but the price wasn't for me! Contacted the seller, a discount from 10 euro was his offer. Still not for me though!

Back in 2016, @steur posted about an Italian hatmaker with the unlikely name, Anderson. Today, having received a package, interestingly enough, from the Netherlands, that I ordered one month ago to Israel, I am now the proud owner of an Anderson. Soft felt, similar to Borsalino and fairly well constructed, it seems to be a fairly modern hat (80's to present). This is a Lapin Rasato (shaved rabbit) hat sold in Milan at Melegari Hat Store.

The only information I could find on an "Anderson" is Italy is about "Anderson's" an accessories manufacturer from Parma.

"Mr Carlo Valenti, the founder of Anderson's, was born in 1935. As a young man in 1960, he started learning the art of belt making at a famous leather factory in Parma. Here he found everything there is to know about leather, so after 6 years he took that knowledge and decided to start his own business. Together with a few colleagues and his future wife, he started the Anderson's company in 1966. Being an Anglophile, he was very fond of hats and wore suits by English tailor 'Anderson and Sheppard'… that's how the name 'Anderson's' came to life. Anderson's is now one of the leading accessories companies in Italy and maybe the oldest men's belt manufacturer in Europe."

Albertini fedora in a grey colour called medusa (don't know what to make of that). Size 59 with the overwelt brim at 5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. The fancy ribbon is called fantasia and that tells us the actual maker is Panizza, because it's a designation they used sometimes for their ribbons.
Fairly sturdy felt with a longhair finish. A few nibbles on and under the brim but not very noticeable.

Super Barbisio Antilope Extra Lusso fedora in a grey brown colour that's hard to capture. Size 60 with the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. We don't see antilope finished hats from Barbisio often and this is an older hat. No label under the sweatband on this one.

Today this beautiful Panizza de Luxe homburg (lobbia) arrived. Very darkbrown (cocoa) color and the condition is 100% mint. Very nice hat in size 59. Don't know the age, i think it's not old, because i don't recognize the label inside, but i am very pleased with this one.
