JACKET THE FIRST

Bronco A2 in Seal Brown Goatskin, size 44, by Aero Leathers of Scotland
Olive Drab Liner, Olive Drab Stitching, Dark Berry Knits



Some of you may remember a recent thread I posted on this jacket here:

The clown modelling the jacket in that thread is 6'2" and 200 lbs. He is available for children's parties, weddings, and bar mitzvahs.

The sixth photo shows a bit of a scrape on the back. I will not ask extra for this or any other patina on the jacket. It is a very comfortable, Aero-quality goatskin. I would call this a light jacket. It has been worn out of the house maybe two dozen times in four years. I paid ~$900 for it new from Thurston Bros back in the spring of 2014.

LE TROISIEME

A2 Contract 42-18775-P in Seal Brown Horsehide, size 42, by US Authentic

This is a heavier jacket than the two goats pictured above. It got one good season of wear on it, then was spurned into the closet by other hides. It is rather slim fitting through the torso if you're into that sort of thing. Got it from Shaul Dover some months before the Aero for about $500.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST

Motor Patrolman's Style Jacket, Black Heavy Leather, size unmarked, by B.I.E. Custom Leather Coats
All black, with heavy duty zipper, thick nylon lining, detachable mouton collar and detachable hood

This is a cool custom made motorcycle jacket from a company that no longer builds jackets. It almost certainly has been worn by a real motorcycle cop on real duty. Patch and badge shadows and a bit of patina to show. I cleaned and Bick 4ed this when I got it. Has some nice features, including the detachable collar and hood, two inside pockets for concealing...er...stuff. Action back. Storm cuffs recessed in the sleeves, and side zips for sizing and/or accessing equipment belt. Overall it is a very smart fitting, rugged, all-weather motorcycle jacket.
