My Jaxon Monk arrived today. It's a nice hat, although I am not sure about the pork pie look on me.[huh]

I am not sure about the porkpie look myself. But that said, I like the stitching on the brim and the color looks good.
It just looks to me that the front needs a pinch.[huh]

Very nice hat and you wear it well. Let go and its you. Not a hat for tee shirt...Suit or casual guayabera shirt style works best. Nice brim stitch accent!

I think the monk looks fine, ic - it's just a different look that takes getting used to. Wear it around the house a bit and get used to your reflection, then see how you feel about it.

That has got to be the best looking porkpie I've ever seen!!! As far as a pinch goes, I've been thinking lately about doing a few hats without a tight pinch and side dents. Back in the day, that was rather common, and not just for porkpies. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

I have the Jaxon Monk as well. It's my "everyday" fall hat. But it works well with a suit, too:

Truth be told, though, I also have the Jaxon Iconoclast and the plastic in the lining is starting to bug me on both hats. They seem to hold too much heat.

Oh, don't forget that a porkpie looks pretty good with the brim turned up all 'round! (That is -- if it's in your comfort zone to wear it as such?!)

In fact, about the only porkpie that I do like the brim snapped-down is on some of the old Stetson Gun Club porkpies... [huh]

I wear my monk with the brim up. It's a different look IMO. I really like the grey color in the monk. Goes really well with earth tone colors.

Glock goes great with everything! They gave me a free glock after one of the glock competitions earlier this year! So I am a loyal owner now And its black so any color hat matches!

Well after wearing the monk for a little while I can say this hat is for colder weather. The felt is soft but thicker and does seem to be kinda hot here in florida, even in cooler weather.
