Maybe I'm too much of a purist? But this reb_bel type III inspired jacket makes my eyes bleed:
-elongated body
-handwarmer pockets (they have no business on a type III
-ball and chain zipper pull (those belong to 30s / early 40s style jackets, the type III is a late 60s design)
-30s style zipper pull
The people who made this thing clearly don't have a clue what they're doing. To top it all off they've thrown in a couple of 'rugged menswear' instagram buzzword hashtags.

Did you know that a celebrity-approved designer has fused safe sex practices and fashion into a single piece of outerwear?
Asher Levine, a New York-based fashion designer, has created a rain coat out of the same silicone used to make condoms.
The $1,200 design, which is reminiscent of Leslie Nielsen’s famous ‘safe sex’ scene in Naked Gun, ‘feels exactly like a condom but without the lube,’ Levine, said.
The “jacket” is an abomination. The shoes however…legitimately scare the sh!t out of me. It’s the last thing you see before the cenobite summons the chains.

This reminded me of all of us being accused, due to our preference for a neat retro fit, of being big fans of some brand I had never heard of, so I decided to look up their jackets:
Interestingly, none of these seem to be anywhere close to our supposedly trend-chasing preference in jacket fit.
I can only imagine that this brand is a money-laundering scheme.
