Okay, so I just noticed this,
http://kotaku.com/5687423/la-noire-explores-the-subtleties-of-crime-with-nuanced-digital-actors

It's the trailer for LA Noire, the video game, and as I'm watching, I cannot help but think, one of the game characters looks and sounds like Ken Cosgrove AKA Aaron Staton... and sure enough it is! The game uses the actor's facial features! And now I want to see where this game is going.

I really was not sure where else I could put this... so there you have it!

I've never seen a costumer market themselves so aggressively. I winced a while back when she tried to take credit for bringing back the 60's skinny suits even though they'd been in the windows of half the designer boutiques on Madison Ave. for more than a decade before MM hit the airwaves. That's some chutzpah.

Falling Angels (2003)

This film was on my local PBS a few nights ago. Black humor & drama. Set in the late `60s, it depicts a dysfunctional family with 3 daughters coping with a domineering father, withdrawn drunk mom. There are flashbacks to various family traumas like a forced 'vacation' in the family bomb shelter. Or a tense scrabble game in the basement 'rec room.'
And the parents have a dark secret from the daughters, which leads to a lot of festering emotions.

Seems the movie is viewable on Youtube...for now:

Mad Men.... Corrupted by it's own success! CAN NO SHOW GO UNTAINTED!!

But where do we go from here? Don Draper, trying to stay "relevant" in a wide tie and floppy hair? Peggy Olsen, making her mark in a miniskirt and boots? Betty, with her cigarette, entertaining at home in palazzo pants? Roger, trying to keep pace with his younger wife, sporting a Nehru jacket? And perhaps Joan, rising in her managerial role, trading her figure-tracing dresses for a man-tailored trouser suit?

"an entire 3D Medusa head is visible, branding the January J collection unmistakably as coming from the house of Versace,” the press release states.

My mother in law has been doing this without sunglasses for quite a while:eek:
