I did. Another great one, loaded with interesting, unexpected stuff...

Poor Sal - and his poor wife.

The Joan/Jane confrontations.

The family leaving their picnic trash behind without even thinking about it.

Don's flashback to his car salesman days: "You're not Don Draper!"

And an absolutely perfect symbolic ending! (Betty couldn't stomach Don's behavior, and soiled the perfect appearance of his new Caddy.)

This show is a marvel, in that almost every scene *means* something, and can be interpreted 5 different ways.

The family leaving the trash and Don throwing his beer can, then getting into the car are parts of why I love this show. It cracks me up, just like seeing everyone smoking and drinking all the time.

Wow! I gotta say, Jane may be a pretty face, but there's something not so pretty underneath.

I was wondering if we were going to get back to Sal. We only saw glimpses in the first season, it was good to get another look at his developing storyline.
I can't wait for next week. I love what's been going on with ****y and the young priest.

The priest seemed familiar for some reason and I couldn't figure out why. And then it hit me - it's Tom Hanks' son.

My wife could not figure out what that was about, and I had to explain (since she's about 8 years younger) that this was 10 years before Woodsy the Owl would be saying "Give a hoot, don't pollute" and the environmental movement kicks in with weeping American Indians and such. I'm sure they fully expected someone to come along and clean it up, but they wouldn't give it a second thought.

I ashamed to admit I have seen it, but heard a lot of good things about it.

I tell you, I relish each episode every Sunday night like I would my favorite thing to eat. This show is just DELICIOUS!

Wonder where Betty is going to go with her newfound confidence?

Where will Don sleep at night? Will he finally give up the philandering? Is it too late to save the marriage? Interesting that he's all Mr. Power and Control in work life but when his wife tells him to not come home he stays at the office and hides from her. He KNOWS he messed up BAD.

When is ****y and Pete's baby going to stop being a secret? (Looks like maybe next week?)

What is Father Gill's motivation in trying to get ****y to confide in him? ( I love this character. I think he's a good guy.)

Joan is so crushed. I feel sorry for her because she really loved reading the scripts and being more than just a secretary, even if only for a brief moment. The scene at the end with the strap marks on her shoulder was very interesting. And she does NOT want to marry that doctor. She's fooling hersalf if she thinks she does!

When are we going to get back to the flashback scene at the car dealership that we were teased with last week??? I'm DYIN' here!

Cripes, I love this show. Sunday nights are the BEST. lol

I wonder if Don will wind up at ****y's, since she seems like the only person he trusts. I actually thought that was where he was in that last scene until we saw the darkened Sterling Cooper.
The Joan storyline was great. The scene of her getting undressed at the end was so sad and telling.
Another incredible episode.

I wanted to rush out to my computer after the episode ended last night!

I really think Father Gill is interested in ****y. Obviously, he can't be.

I am really conflicted over January Jones/Betty. As a character that woman has great restraint. Amazing restraint. As an actress I want her to give me more. I love that she is prim, proper and all about appearances and when she was in that dress for two nights with her greasy hair and faded makeup it humanized her. I haven't decided if shes spot on or missing her mark yet. But getting into this new story line should help me sort her out. Either way she is beautiful and intriguing to watch.

I was so excited watching Joan rise to the occasion and to see her use her potential. My heart just broke when she was introduced to the gentleman taking over the script reading. And that Dr. needs to GO!

Last nights episode was fabulous. I felt so bad for Joan too when she was replaced. She is looking more beautiful than ever, is it me or is she "bigger" ? I'm not sure where want ****y and Father Gill to go............

She is getting bigger week after week. I'm not sure where they're going with that, but on this show, everything is for a reason.
I keep thinking that we'll see evidence of attraction between ****y and Father Gill, but I don't think this show would take that route...too easy.
OFF TOPIC: I love how realistic they're portraying the treatment of the priest in the neighborhood. Growing up in the Bronx in the 70's, priests in my parish were also treated like "celebrities".

Am I correct in thinking I only hear Mona say he was leaving her for "A secretary"?

She did say "a secretary", so I'm sure Roger was not specific as to who it was.
But it certainly IS Jane, Don's new secretary. I didn't see that coming!

Right - I'm also assuming we're to believe it's Don's secretary since Don added he wanted her off his desk. Roger did rehire her after she was fired by Joan the office manager.

But then again...since they don't definitely say who the secretary is that Roger's leaving Mona for...and there was an earlier teary scene in his office (trying not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet)...and some wistful glances in more than one episode...I've got to wonder if they're going to throw us a curveball.
