I've met those guys in Carson City and Berlin. One of the German teams (yes, there are many) has a mobile hair salon. They have both parade and competition outfits. Many of these guys wear their beards like this every day. Walking around a city, they're more fun than a box full of monkeys. Get in their way at competition time, and they'll show you who's boss.

The point? Eyebrow trimming is cute, but if you want real hair sculpture, call a man.
