Very nice; I like those Optimo milans a lot. This Dobbs is the first authentic milan I've handled, and it's a lot different than I expected. I was thinking the straw would be more like a panama, but the braided wheat is dense and robust feeling, yet pliable. Really nice.
That being said, I need to send it off to Optimo to get cleaned and sized up a touch. I held off on it expecting the weather to cool down, and here we are out of nowhere having triple digits in So Cal. Now if I send it off, by the time it gets back I'm sure we'll be back to cool weather. Ah well. lol

Alex stretching a Milan is easy and they usually stay that size and don't default like a Panama from my experience.
