I just ordered a pair of Mountain Khakis from REI (from the REI outlet for half price) and from what I can tell from pictures they look like a pretty decent pair of work/hiking pants with a very wide leg (9.5” flat 19” total at bottom opening). They’re mid rise unlike my Bill’s Khakis M1s but they’re a heavier 10.5 ounce duck cloth. Seems a pretty good modern take on the classic cut, aside from the shorter rise. I’ll post pics when I get ‘em if anyone is interested. If any members own these please add your thoughts or pics. Cheers! -Sefton
