Harold "Scrappy" Lambert --- Cheerio, Cherry Lips (1928)
Any fans of the Dr. Demento Show will remember this recording as his closing theme

Lips unsmiling, lips of rosy hue
I must leave and you're blue
Lips beguiling, just forget to sigh
So long is not goodbye

Cheerio, cherry lips, cheerio
Won't you give me a smile when I go?
You shouldn't look so blue because
Everyone loves that smile of yours

Cheerio, when the moon sails along
In your heart sing a bright little song
Someday I'll kiss away your troubles and woe
Cheerio, cherry lips, cheerio

Her Beaus Are Only Rainbows (1926)
Victor 20146-A

Her beaus are only rainbows
That like the rainbows they disappear
She goes the way the wind blows
And keeps believing they're all sincere
They never take her home to mother
Somehow they always bring another
Her beaus are always rainbows
They're never real beaus somehow

When My Dreams Come True (1929)
Victor 21977-B

The skies will all be blue
When my dreams come true
And I'll be smiling too
When my dreams come true
That Spanish castle I built in my mind
Will be a love nest, the practical kind
And I'll be there with you
When my dreams come true

A Danish band that recorded for the Columbia label in 1929-30. These recordings were made in Sweden for the Swedish market so the vocals are in that language.

I don't think anyone has mentioned "These Foolish Things", from 1936? Here's a rendition by Ol' Blue Eyes from 1945:
