Oh, definitely. According to one of my nephews she was the real reason Eddie and Alex kicked David out of the group. Nephew told me he worked with a guy who claimed to have been a roadie on the 1984 tour who said, regardless of the story the band told publicly, that Eddie caught David aggressively "putting the moves" on Valerie a few times during the tour. He said between that and a number of other issues Eddie and Alex had with David throughout the years, he had to go.
