Pretty certain that's what it is, anyway. I am wondering what era it's from. It's a Bancroft Zephyr, of the highest quality construction.
Inside there is what appears to be a vinyl (?) perspiration shield which says; "Bancroft Military Caps
Makers of fine caps for over 50 years. Framingham, Mass."
Current Bancroft caps say they've been around for over 100 years, so I'm thinking this dates it to the 50's or 60's? Anyone know for sure? [huh]
