After several readings I think it was a joke that nobody got, i.e. some would say the sample pictured is too short, no room for layering, no lining etc...

Pictures of the tags show it is Navy, it looks much lighter and bluer than the midnight blue.

Not sure this one works for me. Brown, cordovan or black for this style. The blue's too much at odds with the iconic look, though I'm sure someone will correct me that it was a common thing to do.

I think that that blue looks almost black unless a true black is shown alongside. Aero's dark brown Vicenza looks black when seen without a true black alongside.
