New Aero Windward

August, very nice take on the Windward. I'd always thought of it as a jacket that was perfect for older guys (like me) to cover their beer guts, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on a younger guy in good shape, pairing it with a hip sort of outfit. I had to go back to the Aero page and look at it again. Kudos to you.

Do you prefer AERO chest pocket position or the lower chest pocket position?

It may be Elephant! They put this tag inside, so not sure! it does say Genuine. Not a heavy jacket.

I don't have a pocket preference. None of those jackets fit me, 40, 36, 46. No 44. I saw an original that would have fit recently, but passed.

It was a hard way to find the best fit/lenght since my first 46" standard Windward in the year 2004 had a backlenght of ridiculous 19,5" (bolerolike) Today I tend to 24,5" back and 22" front which means 1" added to my current because the lenght will shorten 0.5 to 1" when fully broken in....
